The sea slashed and barreled with the new storm as remains of wrecked boats crashed through the waves. Melody fought the waves as they threatened to take her into their cold depths, but she was beginning to become tired, and giving in was beginning to sound like a better and better solution.
But no! She had to fight it. She had to get back to her family.
She clung to the small crustacean friend and keeper for dear life as she tried to swim to the shore.
Her attempts were again stopped by a huge wave crashing into the two.
